The Human Resources Associate will manage the intake process for employees requesting reasonable accommodations for medical and religious needs, ensuring a smooth and confidential experience. The Human Resources Associate will manage the intake process for employees requesting reasonable accommodations for medical and religious needs, ensuring a smooth and confidential experience. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a commitment to compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the intake process for reasonable accommodation requests, ensuring confidentiality and a smooth experience for employees.
- Collaborate with HR and Business Unit (BU) Managers/Leaders to gather pertinent information as part of the interactive process.
- Facilitate communication between employees, managers, the Reasonable Accommodations team, and other relevant stakeholders (e.g., Ergonomics Team, BU Admin).
- Partner closely with the Reasonable Accommodations team to ensure a seamless interactive process.
- Document and maintain accurate, appropriate, and timely case notes and statuses via the Firm's centralized systems (HRCM and AskHR) from conception to closure.
- Manage reasonable accommodations case distribution in the Firm's centralized system (AskHR).
- Escalate pertinent matters as necessary throughout the accommodations process.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance in the accommodation process.
- Continuously assess and improve the efficiency of the intake and administrative processes.
- Provide high-quality operational support to HR Business Partners on cyclical and ad-hoc HR processes, including entering Workday transactions, handling reporting requests, assisting with audits, and maintaining employee data and documents.
- Provide day-to-day support for employees and managers on operational HR matters, delivering timely, accurate, and thorough responses.
- Project manage planned and ad-hoc activities for the HR Business Partner and/or Human Resources Employee Services (HRES) team.
- Liaise with HR Solutions teams and product areas to deliver HR services to HR Business Partners, managers, and employees.
- Ensure requests are tracked appropriately to completion; log information into systems and update details in a timely manner to track service inquiries, resolutions, and provide metrics to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with preferred experience as an HR Coordinator or in Recruiting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience, tact, and respect.
- Strong organizational skills and thorough communication abilities.
- Excellent independent judgment with the ability to recognize when to escalate issues.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Experience dealing with sensitive matters and maintaining confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in coordinating accommodation requests or similar roles is preferred
