Responsibilities

As an Outside Sales Representative in Santa Clara County, CA, for CDCN, your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively seeking out potential business clients in the designated San Jose territory who can benefit from CDCN's hyper-local marketing services.
  • Engaging with business owners and decision-makers to understand their unique marketing needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions that highlight the value of CDCN's services in attracting local customers.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients to ensure continuous communication and support for maximizing the effectiveness of their marketing campaigns.
  • Creating and implementing a sales strategy to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets, which involves managing a pipeline of potential clients.
  • Guiding clients through the sales process by presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals that align with CDCN’s pricing and service models.
  • Staying informed about local market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Tracking and reporting on sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress to refine sales approaches and enhance overall performance with data-driven insights.
  • Collaborating closely with the marketing and account management teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and successful campaign execution.
  • Monitoring client satisfaction levels, addressing any concerns, and striving to maintain long-term client relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Continuously enhancing sales skills and industry knowledge through ongoing training and development opportunities provided by CDCN.
Qualifications
  • Experience in sales with a proven track record of 2-3 years, preferably in marketing or advertising sectors.
  • Familiarity with hyper-local marketing strategies and understanding of local market dynamics preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field is a plus, but relevant work experience will be considered.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required for presenting ideas persuasively.
  • Strong negotiation skills are essential for closing deals and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
  • Understanding customer needs and translating them into effective sales strategies is key.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven individual capable of achieving sales goals independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities for handling multiple clients and projects.
  • Experience using CRM software for managing sales pipelines and client interactions.
  • Comfort with digital tools like email, social media, and presentation software.
  • Resilience to handle rejection and persistence in pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
  • Willingness to collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for potential local travel.
Compensation

$50,000 - $250,000 yearly
