Designer/Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and designers. Your attention to detail and proficiency in drafting software will be crucial in ensuring accurate and precise drawings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and drafting experience to contribute to the development of innovative designs.

• Create detailed technical drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications
• Develop 3D models of mechanical components, systems, or structures
• Prepare schematics, diagrams, or blueprints for manufacturing or construction purposes
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or clients
• Maintain accurate documentation of all drawings and revisions

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Drafter
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor. Inventor preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations related to drafting
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders
