Senior Project Manager

Position Overview:
Reed Construction is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead multiple commercial construction projects. As our SPM, you will champion project success, ensuring timely delivery within budget and maintaining the highest standards of quality. Your role is pivotal in fostering client relationships and enhancing financial performance, making you a key figure in our Owner-Architect-Reed team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pre-construction and construction phases, ensuring all aspects from conceptual estimating to GMP development are flawlessly executed.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring precise project scopes and terms.
• Lead project cost controls, change management, and ensure profitability through meticulous margin forecasting.
• Direct project communications, enhancing team collaboration and ensuring clear accountabilities.
• Manage vendor solicitations, contract awards, and maintain stringent quality and cost controls.
• Conduct and lead OAC meetings, ensuring all project milestones are met.
• Drive multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong construction trade knowledge and leadership.
• Forge and nurture client and subcontractor relationships, reflecting Reed’s commitment to exceeding expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in commercial construction management
• BIM coordination, pull planning & LEAN experience preferred
• Proficient with project management software like Procore, Timberline, and Microsoft Project.
• Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
