May lead a team of entry to intermediate level Quality Engineering professionals or a team or supervisors of Quality Engineering Technical / Business Support employees. Sets day-to-day objectives for the development, modification, application, and maintenance of quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols.Key Responsibilities:Lead problem-solving teams to analyze and resolve internal/external issuesIdentify & lead first pass yield improvement projectsLead and/or participate in scrap reduction and process improvement projects with other functionsParticipate in Design Reviews, PFMEA and Control Plan development and plan appropriate actions to reduce RPNProactively investigate ways to improve the process to reduce waste, scrap, and customer concerns.Track and Report Quality KPIs for the respective areaOrganize and present data to management for decision makingComply with all the company and departmental policies and procedures Responsible for communicating when there is an issue affecting the Environment, Health, Safety or Quality to his / her respective ManagerLead/ Support product containment with operations/ warehouse supportCoordination and performance of internal process/product auditsComplete capability studies and monitor control of key product characteristicsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree3+ years of experience working in the Quality function in a manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications:The ideal candidate for this position is a positive self-driven professional who possesses a combination of business acumen, technical and interpersonal skills.Experience working through ISO9001 certification and internal auditingRobust skills of data manipulation, interpretation and analysis.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).Familiar with GD&T methodologyStrong corrective action skills, ability to lead a cross-functional team and follow the issue to closure using 8D problem-solving tools such as; 5Y, fishbone, Fault tree analysis, etcExperience with quality core tools such as, MSA, SPC, FMEA & Control plansKnowledge of all the Quality tools (DOE, SPC, Pareto Charts, Cause & Effect Analysis, Minitab, etc) and the deployment of these tools in continuous improvement initiatives.#LI-OnsiteRSRCARCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
