Idaho Milk Transport is looking for Class-A CDL Drivers to perform farm pick ups (milk loading) as well as haul food grade liquids from plant to plant interstate throughout the 5 Western States. We prefer candidates with experience, but for the right individual, we are willing to train you for the job. Terminal is based in Fresno, CA

57 CPM is our starting rate of pay PLUS detention, unload, and wash pay!
59 CPM for farm pick up (milk loading) with Sampler and Weighers License, PLUS loading pay.

Minimum Hiring Guidelines:
  • 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 5 years; Preferred
  • Clean driving record; Preferred
  • No major violations within the last 5 years (DUI, DWI, reckless endangerment, possession of a controlled substance, felonies, license suspension)
  • Must have a valid Class A CDL along with a tankers and doubles/triples endorsement
  • Must possess a valid DOT medical certificate issued by a certified medical examiner
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Applicant must provide a full and complete employment background for the previous 5 years
  • Applicant must successfully pass a road test in equipment similar to which will be operated
  • Applicant must have knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • Applicant must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends; we are a 24/7, 365 day a year operation
Responsibilities:
  • Transport liquid bulk product over land to and from dairy farms and processing plants.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
  • Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving on ELD unit
  • Input "macros" into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions
  • Report defects, accidents, or violations
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
