Job Summary

We seek a dynamic and experienced HVAC Facilities/Shop Supervisor to join our Los Angeles, CA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong HVAC or sheet metal distribution background and hands-on experience in fabrication facilities. This role is crucial in overseeing the facility's daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining equipment in optimal condition. We are particularly interested in candidates with a local and stable work history who demonstrate their ability to thrive in the Southern California market.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the shop's daily operations, including HVAC systems, sheet metal fabrication, and equipment maintenance.
• Manage a team of technicians and shop personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Implement and improve shop processes for fabrication and distribution, focusing on efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage relationships with HVAC and sheet metal distributors and suppliers, ensuring timely procurement of materials and equipment.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs of HVAC systems and fabrication equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational continuity.

Qualifications​​​​​​​

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in an HVAC, sheet metal distribution, or fabrication facility.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sheet metal fabrication processes, and facility management best practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage workflows, and enforce safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates with a proven track record in Southern California's HVAC or fabrication sectors are preferred.
• A background in working directly with HVAC equipment or in a fabrication facility is highly desirable.
