Job SummaryCoordinates all facets of employer on campus engagement, grows internships and employment outcomes for students and alumni.
- Collaborates with other career centers to ensure consistent communication and support for employers enhancing their overall experience with the recruiting process.
- Support employer engagement team with large scale employer events such as career fairs, and conference to grow student and employer participation and satisfaction.
- Provide support to college liaisons with employer development and outreach to grow programming and employment outcomes for individual colleges.
- Develops and grows full-time and internship opportunities by building and managing relationships on behalf of Career Talent & Development (CTD) and FIU with entities including but not limited to, Chambers of Commerce, local and national corporations, government agencies, industry groups, economic development councils etc.
- Provides support with all aspects of career management system that includes new employer registrations, job/internships review, information sessions, on-campus recruiting, and other employer related initiatives/programs etc.
- Monitors and tracks on-campus recruiting and employer branding activities for targeted and strategic employers, consult with and support employers to advise them on optimal recruitment plan.
- Assists in developing policies and procedures related to employer outreach, community engagement and general employer engagement activities.
- Prepares written communication and compiles ad-hoc and regular reports of activities related to employer outreach and employment trends.
- Creates and delivers presentations for best practices for recruiting at FIU for key community stakeholders.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience; OR Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of related experience.
Desired Qualifications- Experience working in Higher Education and Recruiting.
- Experience working with community partners.
- Knowledge in using Career Management Software.
