Major Food Group is seeking a Take Out Attendant to join our team at Parm Battery Park !
Since the original location of Parm opened in New York City’s Little Italy in 2011, the restaurant’s takes on Italian-American soul food have reached iconic status. From the prized Chicken Parm to the homemade meatballs to the Rigatoni Carbone, the menu is inspired by the cooking Michelin-Starred chefs Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi ate growing up. The goal is to make the best versions of these recognizable dishes while remaining faithful to their history—and to serve them in a fun, familial environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greeting customers as they arrive and making them feel welcome.
- Directing customers to their seats and the restroom, answering questions about the menu, and making note of special requests, if required.
- Assembling and packaging takeaway orders.
- Maintaining cleanliness standards by keeping the counters, tableware, and utensils clean.
- Replenishing food supplies when required.
- Presenting customers with the bill and processing payments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 1 year restaurant/F&B experience
- Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual.
- Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
- Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays).
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
- Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, OpenTable, Word and Excel.
- Experience in high-volume restaurants preferred.
