The Senior Director, Global Talent Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training and development programs and solutions that build and enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and overall organizational effectiveness. This role focuses on fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, driving performance improvement, and supporting the strategic goals of the company!
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a multi-year strategy and roadmap for executive, management, professional and early talent development aligned to company goals
- Leverage learning technologies to provide personalized, scalable, on demand, learning solutions to all colleagues
- Manage the talent development budget, anticipate and suggest tradeoffs as the year progresses
- Manage a global team to design and deliver global development programs, and other learning methodologies for employees across all levels and regions.
- Develop and deliver career development resources to support colleague growth
- Establish talent analytics and measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness and impact of talent development initiatives and to continuously improve offerings
- Foster a global learning culture that encourages continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across the organization.
- Promote the use of innovative learning technologies and platforms to enhance accessibility and engagement in learning programs.
- Lead organizational change initiatives related to talent development, ensuring successful adoption and integration of new programs and practices.
- Enable yearly release of Corporate Social Responsibility report
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Extensive experience (typically 15+ years) in talent development, organizational development, or related HR roles, preferably in a global matrixed organization (Fortune 100)
- Strong understanding of talent development strategies, leadership development, performance management, and learning and development best practices.
- Proven experience designing and implementing global talent development programs and initiatives.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the org.
