Job Description:

The Senior Developer (Service Management) is a versatile and highly motivated individual who works directly with the Global Admin Tool lead role to support Process Owners and all IT teams on the functional requirements definition, design, implementation, and maintenance of our Service Management tool (ServiceNow) that includes incident, service catalog, problem, change, release, and configuration management process disciplines. This position will work with ITIL Process Owners, the Service Desk, and Business Users in defining, developing, and executing application and process enhancements and must have strong technical proficiency.

Required Qualifications:

Skills:

  1. Proficient in ServiceNow tool.
  2. Experience in UI design using JavaScript, HTML. Good knowledge of web design.
  3. Experience with Service Portal.
  4. Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  5. Passion for ITIL and the delivery of effective and efficient processes across the IT enterprise.
  6. Familiar with the scope and objectives of Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration management.
  7. Solid Development / Administrator background.
  8. Maintains and supports Service Management Toolset operational functions and Vendor escalations.
  9. Demonstrated experience working with business partners to interpret requirements and deliver software solutions based on Process owners, Business units, and IT Operations support teams.
  10. Ability to take up challenges, adapt to the business needs, and stay focused on delivering results is essential to the success of this role.
  11. Documentation of solution architecture and supporting business processes.
  12. Strong team player with the ability to help ensure proper Tool Support initiatives.
  13. Excellent written and verbal communication to document processes and Tool solutions.
  14. Excellent presentation skills and excellent documentation skills.

Experience:
  1. 5 years of experience in I.T.
  2. 2 years of experience as a System Administrator of a service management application, preferably Service-Now.
  3. 1 - 2 years of experience in client scripting (JavaScript, HTML).
  4. Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory and relevant I.T. architecture experience.
