We are a fast-casual ramen destination with 3 locations in LA where we are a staple to the Hollywood crowd, for combining modern flavors with traditional ramen recipes. We are looking to hire those who share our passion for ramen, food, and exceptional fun service!

We are now hiring for a Restaurant Manager to join our team at our Melrose Location.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated, go-getter who will oversee the entire restaurant operations ensuring high standards of food quality and service. This is an exciting ground floor opportunity with a lot of room to learn and grow as we pave the road for rapid expansion. Your decisions and actions will make a real impact on the thousands of customers we serve every day!

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
  • Ensuring that all team members adhere to the company’s standards.
  • Maintaining food service and production levels by leading strong BOH and FOH executions.
  • Addressing performance issues quickly and respectfully by coaching, counseling, and managing any conflict.
  • Contributing ideas, thoughts, and solutions that result in increased productivity, higher retention, and improved operations.
  • Assist General Manager/overall responsible for the smooth operations of the restaurant taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant.
  • Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability.
  • Creating and executing staff development.
  • Recruiting, training, and motivating staff.
  • Ensuring all payroll policies and procedures are followed, including management of timekeeping for compliance and accuracy.
  • Adhering to all relevant health department rules and regulations, and all customer service guidelines.
  • Greeting guests and table touch to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Other tasks as specified by management.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience working in a management role in a high volume restaurant.
  • Know how to effectively keep up with multiple channels of information (i.e., emails, text, calls).
  • POS and computer proficient.
  • Current with all required health and safety certifications as required by the City of Los Angeles and the State of California.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the company's needs.
  • Love service, customers, and people.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

  • Restaurant is equipped with ventilated air conditioning.
  • Noise level is moderate to high.
  • Temperatures vary from hot to cold.
  • Floors may be slippery due to the nature of the business.
  • Able to stand for 2-4 hours at a time.
  • Able to reach overhead and outwards, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, squat and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds or less.
