Volt is immediately hiring for a Data Center Material Handler in Sparks, NV. Our client is a fortune 100, multinational technology company, that designs, develops and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services and is considered one of the Big Four tech companies.

As a Material Handler you will:

  • Ensure all packaging such as cardboard and warps are disposed of according to company policy
  • Assisting in shipping, receiving, storage and distribution activities for the Data Center to include unboxing and boxing/crating of data center equipment
  • Assisting in inventory control, cycle count programs, de-trashing and breaking down materials & keeping the facility clean and organized
  • Assisting in removal of decommissioned assets from the data halls
  • General dock and inventory duties as assigned


This is a full time, Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30 pm opportunity.

The ideal candidate:

  • Able to lift inventory up to 50 lbs on a semi regular basis
  • Able to stand and walk for most of your shift
  • Able to work in a team and independently as needed
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
  • Must have intermediate computer skills. Comfort in using them, and comfort with technology


Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
