Job Requirements / Description

Responsibilities :

  • Issue invoices for campaigns that are ready to bill utilizing Operative and SAP
  • Process invoice adjustments
  • Run weekly and month end reporting and for Finance Ad Sales
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Serve as SME for Digital Billing Process
  • Utilize SAP
  • Partner with leadership to ensure continuous process improvement while streamlining and building efficient & effective processes
  • Manager level role - assist with filling gaps in the team
  • Sales team submits invoice in operative and then gets sent to billing team for processing
  • Monthly/quarterly tasks - gaps to fill with contractor
  • Month end reporting/closing
  • QA for team
  • Handling adjustments
  • Upcoming system migrations - overhauling booking systems and finance system - SAP to S4.
  • Working on and supporting system migrations.
  • Supporting team workflows and support
  • Day in a life: Every day is a little different, depending on where in the billing cycle. Escalations coming in, special billing requests, invoicing, working with different products, regular reporting, quality control, working on unbilled, analytics, international billing, team collaboration, brainstorming solutions, system support. Strong interaction with different teams.
Qualifications :
  • BA/BS 4-year degree in accounting, finance or economics
  • 3-5 years' experience in leadership role.
  • 3-5 years finance/accounting experience (reporting, reconciling, and auditing)
  • Media industry experience preferred
  • SAP experience required; familiar with finance functions & basic T-codes
  • Ability to build reports independently and run queries when requested
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with OperativeOne a bonus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion
  • Self-motivated with ability to thrive in demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must
  • Highly energetic drive with a can-do attitude

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
