Texwrap is looking for a proven and dynamic sales leader to be the Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest Region. This position is home-based and will travel extensively throughout the territory. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) contributes to the company's success by developing, maintaining, and growing distributor relationships to achieve targeted sales goals. They are a motivated, self-starter, with a strong desire to achieve personal and professional growth. The position will require extensive travel across the multi-state Midwest Region territory. This position reports to the VP of Sales.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Maintain and enhance established Channel Partners by providing sales support, sales leadership, product and sales skills training, sales management and motivation.
- Continuously develop strategies to keep current Channel Partners vital and growing in sales of the Texwrap Product Line.
- Establish new, qualified Distributor and Agent representation of the Texwrap brand of equipment where appropriate to attain sales revenue and market share targets.
- Create and maintain Channel Partner evaluation procedures that would allow Texwrap to identify strengths and weaknesses of new and existing CP’s for training and replacement purposes.
- Oversee the day-to-day tasks of managing all Channel Partners within your geographic territory.
- Continuously improve the procedures of defining, assigning, and follow-up on sales leads.
- Introduce new products to the Channel Partners as they are developed.
- Provide training and marketing materials for the Channel Partner, make joint sales calls with the Channel Partner’s sales representatives.
- Develop sales opportunities, sales strategies, and value-based solutions through application evaluations with End User Customers.
- Coordinate activities with other sales team members to maximize the sales of Texwrap products.
- Prepare a Strategic Action Plan and Tactical Action Plan that leads to the attainment of the annual sales forecast.
- Utilize SalesForce (CRM) to organize and track multiple sources of information and data to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct yourself with the highest ideal in ethics and integrity.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with employees and Channel Partners.
- Must have a “Sales Manager’s” mentality with the understanding that success through other people’s performance is vital to the job.
- Must have polished presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess top-level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- Must know how to train and motivate salespeople and develop and execute strategic and tactical action plans.
- Must be available for, and comfortable with, extensive business travel.
- Must have working capabilities with electronic communications tools and be comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce CRM.
