Job Requirements / Description

The Making a Difference Foundation is looking for a volunteer data entry specialist who normalizes & prepares source data for entry in a web-based interface. They will enter data from source documents using established standards and maintain data entry goals & requirements by following proper procedures. The specialist will verify data by performing quality assurance measures, maintain operations by following policies, maintains customer confidence & protects operations by complying with data integrity & adhering to security protocols. They will contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Add this position to your resume!

Duties Include

  • Organize paperwork after entering data and file in correct areas
  • Retrieve data from the databases or electronic files as requested
  • Scan documents and print files, when needed
  • Typing in data provided by the clients
  • Verify data to be accurate with the clients
  • Update existing data
  • Compiling, verifying data, and sorting information to prepare for data entry
  • Review data for errors and correct any incorrect data entry

Knowledge/Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Telephone Etiquette
  • Typing skills 20+ words per minute
  • Accurate and great attention to detail
  • Knowledge of printer computer and office machine usage
  • Knowledge of and experience with MS Office
