Job summary

As a Fueling Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising, directing, training, and assisting fueling personnel. You ensure safe, on-time fueling operations, customer coordination, and interface, reinforcing all applicable regulations, policies, and safety practices. You will also be responsible for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activities at the station with an objective of reducing employee injuries and aircraft and equipment damage.

The expected pay rate is $25/hr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match, paid vacation time, sick time, and company-paid holidays.

Your activities

  • Receive, store, transfer, and dispense petroleum fuel products.
  • Supervise fueling staff.
  • Maintain daily fueling operations.
  • Coordinate activities with lead fueler and fuelers in performing into-plane and ground equipment fueling services.
  • Disseminate instructions to fueling personnel and monitor their activities.
  • Make spot assignment changes to optimize manpower and equipment utilization in an ever-changing workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with company, airlines, FAA, MWAA, and OSHA procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Assist in the training process of all newly hired and promoted fuelers, leads, dispatchers, and supervisors.
  • Account for fuel dispersals and receipts.
  • Interface with airlines shift management personnel to implement expansion as operational requirements dictate.
  • Work with airport operations personnel to ensure all safety and security guidelines are adhered to and participate in airline audits.
  • Perform operative gauge procedures as necessary.
  • Implement monthly communication, safety, and staff meetings.
  • Complete accident/incident investigations and all associated paperwork as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as directed by immediate supervisor and/or listed in GPPM Supplement.
  • Implement daily tailgate meetings.

Your profile

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years' experience in fueling operations.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
