- The 21-bed emergency department with 37,000 annual visits.

- In 2004, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital became the first hospital in the St. Louis metropolitan area to be designated as an accredited Chest Pain Center from the Society of Chest Pain Centers.
- Providers will support additional HSHS sites including St. Anthony’s in Effingham, St. Joseph’s in Breese, St. Joseph in Highland, and Holy Family in Greenville.
