Job Description:
Johnson Barrow, Inc., a leading Commercial HVAC Manufacturers Representative Firm, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Warehouse Assistant / Inside Sales Associate with a strong emphasis on sales. This position will play a vital role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a passion for sales.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support:
• Assist the sales team with customer inquiries, product information, and order processing.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
• Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the product line to effectively address customer inquiries and upsell opportunities.
• Provide outstanding customer service to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
2. Warehouse Operations:
• Receive and process incoming stock, ensuring accuracy and timely stocking of products.
• Perform inventory management tasks, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and order fulfillment.
• Prepare shipments and ensure accurate documentation for outbound orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment for efficient operations.
3. Sales Reporting and Analysis:
• Assist in maintaining sales records, customer databases, and reports.
• Monitor sales metrics and generate periodic sales reports for management review.
• Identify sales trends and opportunities to drive business growth.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in a sales-oriented role, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in using sales software, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift operation certification (or willingness to obtain certification) is a plus.
