The staffing specialist finds the talent that makes Power Design a great place to work. Located at our headquarters campus in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida, this recruiting position is part of the team that brings in top talent for the organization, a critical need for the organization. By partnering with hiring managers and executives at Power Design, the staffing specialist identifies, sources, interviews, and assesses top-quality candidates for positions in the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • By understanding the recruiting needs of the organization, find talent and make recommendations for hire.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, executives, and existing employees as well as a potential candidate network while always providing excellent customer service.
  • Find and hire employees with company values who meet or exceed the criteria of the role.
  • Create and maintain search engine optimized job descriptions and job library in Taleo.
  • Participate in department projects and process improvement efforts to increase efficiencies and success.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree and three (3) or more years of relevant recruitment or staffing experience are required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
  • Must be able to establish priorities, have a drive for quality results, meet deadlines, and multitask.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with all levels of staff and management, with discretion as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet strict, changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with applicant tracking systems preferred, but not required.
