We are looking for a Senior Account Executive who not only possesses a passion for creating solutions and delivering client success but also has an appreciation for how music, podcasting, well-known personalities, and events connect with audiences. As a Senior Account Executive at Audacy, you will have the opportunity to champion six powerhouse radio stations, extensive digital marketing assets, widely attended events with unique sponsorship opportunities, and our e-commerce platform. In addition to selling within the local San Francisco market, you will have access to Audacy’s extensive reach nationwide selling across all 48 Audacy markets. Of course, our Audacy Account Executives are handsomely compensated with an attractive base salary plus commission, along with potential for bonus compensation!
This is a hybrid role based out of our Audacy - San Francisco.

What You'll Do:
- Primary focus will be to proactively develop new business and build strong relationships with local/regional decision-makers, with the goal of converting them to repeat clients.
- Create strategic and creative multi-platform, multi-channel advertising campaigns that leverage the broad reach of over-the-air audio, streaming, targeted digital solutions, killer lifestyle events, and e-commerce.
- Bring innovative marketing ideas to life that make a difference for your clients and their businesses, while also having the ability to sell on a national level.
- Continuously learn and train on new assets and marketing techniques.
- Close business and oversee the execution of the marketing campaign and exceed client expectations.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Achieve sales objectives and assigned goals.
- Continuously build your knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, and innovations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 5+ years in media sales (broadcast radio and digital media preferred), and experience with prospecting/cold-calling.
- A hunter mentality with the ability to proactively generate new business and manage the full sales cycle.
- Proven track record of exceeding goals and renewing business.
- Relevant relationships with local and national advertising clients/agencies to call on from day 1.
- Thorough understanding of advertising and marketing, especially in digital, audio, and interactive.
- A creative and strategic mind to put together unique campaigns focused on solving client needs.
- A solutions and goal-oriented mindset – you’re someone who identifies a problem as an opportunity to develop business.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office programs, SalesForce, Media Monitors, Xray, Nielsen, Google Analytics, Google Ads (SEM), Facebook Ads.
- A positive attitude and a desire to continuously grow your income.
- Ability to be in-person in our San Francisco office for a minimum of 3 days/week (Tues, Wed, Fri).
- A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check. If the position requires use of the applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance is required.
Pay Transparency: The anticipated starting base salary range for California based individuals expressing interest in this position is $85,000 to $110,000, plus commission (anticipated on-target-earnings is $170,000 - $220,000). Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
