Thomasville Medical Center (NHTMC) is seeking a dynamic and visionary President & Chief Operating Officer to lead our 146-bed nonprofit hospital, affiliated with Novant Health, serving the Greater Winston-Salem Market. In this pivotal role, the CEO/COO will shape the future of healthcare delivery, focusing on quality, efficiency, and financial performance to meet the evolving needs of our community.
The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategic plans that align with Novant Health’s mission, oversee hospital operations to ensure high-quality service delivery, and collaborate with physician partners and community leaders to enhance patient care. Additionally, the CEO/COO will foster a culture of accountability and innovation among staff while managing budgets effectively to ensure the sustainability of our services.

Qualifications
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Healthcare / Business Administration or Related field, required. Graduate Degree - Healthcare / Business Administration or Related field, required.
- Experience: 7+ years progressive executive management experience and working knowledge of all aspects of a large, integrated health system, required. Ideal candidate will have 6-8 years experience in acute care operations, preferred.
- Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; possess knowledge of current leadership, management, and business concepts, and the ability to participate in developing and implementing organizational strategies to address opportunities to improve organizational performance; possess the educational and experiential requirements of leadership; possess personal, professional, and educational attributes as defined by federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
