Profile Summary:

The AVP, EB Enrollment Technology role is a leadership IT position to help drive Voya’s ability to gain market share in the benefit administration platform related distribution space.

Profile Description:

  • Certification credentials and knowledge in the HCM and ERP environments.
  • Strong exposure to plan builds – both new and repeat residential builds.
  • Establish and negotiate Voya’s Benefit Administration agreements - including the HCM and ERP space.
  • Key contributor and presenter in finalist presentations for Life, Disability, Leave Solutions, and Supplemental products, which drive increase in Supplemental and Life/Disability/Leave Solution sales.
  • Internal and external technology coach.
  • Regularly evaluate and identify state-of-the-art vendors and partners to work with.
  • Maintain relations with Voya’s existing and emerging companies in the Benefit Administration and HRIS platform space. This includes the negotiation of contractual arrangements with Benefit Administration, HCM, and ERP partners.
  • Provide industry leadership, negotiation skills, budget oversight and guidance regarding technology expense in supporting our distribution efforts.
  • Stay abreast of multifaceted components to the strengths and weaknesses of the current marketplace, i.e., decision support, benefit administration trends, user experience and interface developments, etc. This includes a thorough understanding of the highest levels of data protection capabilities in the industry.
  • Attend meetings related to Voya’s most significant strategic relationships and COE alignments, i.e., Mercer, Aon, Lockton, WTW, etc. Travel also requires attendance at the industry’s top association and conference meetings on an annual basis, such as the annual HR Technology conference.
  • Support and complement the distribution team in various ways that include, but are not limited to, providing a “non-distribution” voice at the producer level with the ability to speak about any technology platforms, resellers, and ongoing market developments. Essentially become the “go-to” resource for HR technology, and more facetime with our enrollment and technology partners.
  • Increase case onboarding efficiency within the home office and the unexpected implementation challenges posed by the technology environment.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years of insurance industry experience
  • 7+ years of Benefit Administration experience
  • Strong understanding of and familiarity with current platform builds and code requirements currently in place.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$166,310 - $207,890 USD
