Role Overview:
Are you a dynamic product management leader that loves to work with the brands to realize a full products potential of their customer engagement solutions? Do you have knowledge and experience in all facets of product management, user experience, and enjoy solving problems? In this role as the Director of Product Management you will be responsible for creating product solutions that powers unified customer experiences and empowers marketers to create, optimize and measure relevant interactions and experiences customers love. In this role you will work collaboratively with technical and cross-functional business teams to develop and implement product features and go-to-market (GTM) plans for our innovative and differentiated Messaging product offerings. For success in this role, you need to be comfortable as the product evangelist internally and externally to industry analysts and clients benefits of email and related customer experiences to maximize impact.
Role Responsibilities:
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Messaging and related experiences for Epsilon.
- Engage closely with our customers (and end-users) to understand their current processes and needs, translating those into product capabilities and requirements.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, UX researchers, sales engineers, and other team members to deliver impactful customer experiences and outcomes.
- Plan future product iterations based on a combination of usage analysis, customer outcomes, sentiment, and qualitative feedback.
- Be responsible for the product's life cycle from concept to launch through value realization.
- Create and communicate product vision and lead go-to-market initiatives for new product offerings while ensuring the positioning and packaging is in line with market requirements and growth.
- Occasionally support sales in early-stage account strategy and major client pursuits.
- Evangelize the value of Epsilon's platform for owned and operated channels to clients and/or analysts.
- Participate with other product managers to develop best practices and become the owner of specific assigned best practices.
Requirements:
- Background in email marketing; ideally having worked for an Email solutions provider.
- Will be entrepreneurial and comfortable in a changing, fast growth, results-driven environment with prior experience in both large and small organizations.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organization, leadership, and customer service skills to communicate vision.
- Will have a powerful blend of business and technical savvy, including experience developing products using Agile methodology.
- Will have a strong background in the software industry with significant experience in product management with a proven track record of managing products through the entire life cycle.
- Will have a deep knowledge of data-driven marketing programs.
- Ability to communicate vision to senior leadership.
- Has strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to function in both a self-motivated and team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in Product Management or equivalent.
- Industry knowledge and expertise in Mar Tech activation channels such as email, mobile-SMS and In App personalized targeting.
- Owned a product or solution from introduction through launch and into maturity.
- Experience effectively influencing stakeholders and driving resolutions.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.
- BA/BS degree, advanced degree and/or MBA desirable; or equivalent experience.
