In this role, you'll be in control of all things HR including creating and implementing policies, facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, benefits, processing payroll, overseeing employee relations, and creating efficient workflows. This is a full-time position located in Springfield, VA.

Qualifications

  • At least 5-7 years of experience as an HR leader, including proven success collaborating with employees and managers to deliver HR solutions and services in support of business objectives.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in HR disciplines including (but not limited to) employee relations, recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, engagement, and policy design.
  • Familiarity with state and federal employment laws.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing Payroll administration and record keeping including compensation, garnishments, reimbursements, taxes and other deductions/earnings into the HRIS.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing payroll processing, facilitating HR audits, and evaluating reports.
  • Experience using Unanet, or another comparable financial system.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and a strong communicator (verbal and written)
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or another related field
  • Prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work in the U.S.
  • The main point of contact for office needs
