Our customer base includes general contractors with a significant presence in the multifamily apartment segment. Central Ohio is the primary market we serve with plans to expand geographically.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead our sales strategy in Columbus, Ohio, and eventually across additional markets. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the construction industry, particularly within the multifamily apartment sector. As the Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales approach, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve sales revenue targets with Ideal Customers.
  2. Lead a small team of sellers as a Player/Coach.
  3. Input and execution of a strategic sales plan to increase market share in Columbus and other target markets.
  4. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the construction and real estate industries, particularly within multifamily apartment projects.
  5. Lead, train, and manage the sales team to achieve company objectives.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project management, procurement, and installation) to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  7. Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships with general contractors, developers, and design firms.
  8. Monitor industry trends, competition, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies as needed.
  9. Report on sales performance and growth opportunities to the executive team.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven track record in sales leadership, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
  2. Extensive knowledge of the multifamily apartment construction sector.
  3. Strong network of contacts within the Columbus market and beyond.
  4. Ability to lead and inspire a sales team, with experience managing teams in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
  5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Results-driven with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  7. Willingness to travel as needed to expand into additional markets.

Schedule:
