JOB DESCRIPTION: Loaders are responsible for loading customer orders in our fleet vehicles in an accurate and efficient manner. We are a customer service business; we strive to provide our customers with the highest level of service possible. This includes supplying our customers with the product they order, with on-time delivery and in sellable condition. Loaders are a critical part of this process.
PHYSICAL NATURE: This position does require extensive physical labor due to loading numerous customer orders, walking within departments to gather customer orders, removing containers from pallets or conveyors, etc. This is a fast-paced position, requiring each Loader load several trucks daily. It is required that a Loading team member be able to lift up to 75lbs repeatedly.
MENTAL NATURE: This position is a very detail-oriented position. Loaders must understand loading operations and how inefficiencies effect operations, including on-time departures, inventory, financials, and customer service.
EQUIPMENT: This position could require the use of fork-lifts, walkie-riders, pallet jacks, and dollies.
TECHNOLOGY: This position requires the use of RF scanning devices, computers, printers, WMS.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE We are seeking an individual with proven success in one or more of the following: use of RF scanning units, distribution, warehousing, and inventory. We are also seeing individuals with proven long-term employment in the past.
WORKING CONDITIONS: We are a distribution/warehousing facility. Our ambient warehouse temperature tends to be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Our cooler/freezers are 36°F and -10°F, respectively. Freezer wear is provided if required to work in this area.
WAGES: This is an hourly position that will require overtime at times. Starting base rate of $12.75/hr.
INCENTIIVE: Loaders are eligible for our incentive program based on number on containers processed. Typically, a new hire will start seeing an incentive after 6-8 weeks but are eligible as soon as he/she hits production goals. There is no cap to the incentive.

DEPENDABILITY: Dependability is critical in this position. We expect team members to be on time and work when they are scheduled to ensure we are being the best partner we to our customers, co-workers, and carriers. Due to the nature of operations, we are unable to tolerate attendance issues.
