As a Learning and Development Manager at Bowen Center, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and development of our team members. You will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive learning and development programs that enable our employees to excel in their roles and advance their careers.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and directly supervise the Learning and Development Department staff on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure any required certifications or licensure are maintained for trainers.
  • Ensure all required licenses are relevant with governing agencies.
  • Maintain knowledge of function and expand innovation of the Learning Management System.
  • Ensure that all new hires receive high-quality orientation and on-boarding experience in order to maintain a high employee performance level.
  • Ensure the compliance requirements are met as designated Bowen Policy and all governing agencies including, but not limited to, Joint Commission, CMS, FSSA, DMHA, and DCS.
  • Direct the leadership development programs to ensure content is up to date and relevant to the needs of participants.
  • Participate as an active member of the Clinical Staff Organization Committee (CSO), and other designated committees, to assist with addressing learning and development needs within the center.
  • Consistently meet with Clinical and Administrative program leadership to identify training needs and ensure training content is relevant and meeting the program and staff needs.
  • Direct and implement a career growth development program for existing staff.
  • Strategize with leadership to develop and maintain effective competencies within current positions.
  • Serve as the project manager related to training initiatives by understanding the project scope and expected outcomes, identifying key stakeholders, and ensuring the workgroup is meeting deadlines and delivering quality outcomes.
