Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Software Engineer to fill an open position with a Fortune 15 company based in the greater Seattle area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on engineering system infrastructure and provide support for Visual C++ products, contributing to the continuity of the Visual C++ Runtime and associated engineering system requirements and changes. You'll be involved in debugging and developing C++ applications and tools integral to shipping C++ compilers and runtimes on the Windows platform, gaining firsthand experience in the development and shipping process within Visual Studio.

In this role you will:

• Apply source code changes to supported versions of Visual C++ products
• Evolve, extend, and improve supporting infrastructure for Visual C++ products
• Document processes and build automation to simplify engineering system tasks
• Contribute to the continuity of support for the Visual C++ Runtime and engineering system requirements

The Ideal Candidate

• 2-4 years of experience in software engineering
• Strong foundation in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Experience with large systems software design and development
• Proficiency in C or C++ language and build system technologies like MSBuild or WiX
• Ability to perform troubleshooting and unit testing on new and legacy production systems
• Demonstrated experience in programming and problem diagnosis and resolution
