Responsibilities Summary: Set the strategic direction, identify and implement key improvements in support of business objectives in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Improve and sustain Safety, Health, and Environmental performance of the maintenance organization.
• Provide mentoring and guidance for direct reports and oversee their training and development needs.
• Drive maintenance best practices and continuous improvement efforts to achieve increased efficiency, consistency,
and quality.
• The Manager will lead the Maintenance Work Process and champion the utilization and improvements in the SAP system at the facility.
• Manages the planning, budgeting, and execution of the bi-annual Turnarounds. This includes contracting, cost control and integration of capital work.
• Acts as Contract Administrator of the site.
• Responsible and accountable for maintenance spending and cost management including contract services,
maintenance labor, overtime, and maintenance materials.
• Responsible for the execution of the reliability tasks (PM & PDM).
• Accountable for Planning and scheduling.
• Responsible for capital budgeting, planning, and execution for small plant capital projects. Support the construction execution of large capital projects at the site working with off site resources.
• Establish strong communications with Manufacturing Operations that ensures the highest level of maintenance coordination and support to the operations.
