The Group Sales Manager is an individual who has extensive experience in the sales process and function of a hotel. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts, conducting site inspections, soliciting, and generating business. Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilizing Hyatt systems, and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate. This person will also participate and may lead sales, events, and other staff meetings.

Our good faith belief at the time of this posting is that the annual salary for this position will be between $70,600 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience) with the ability earn additional financial incentives based on goal achievement.

Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Group sales experience in a hotel, preferably including meeting space
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
