As a senior business analyst in the Facilities Services Organization, you will participate in the development and execution of analytics strategies to support the organization that maintains the stores. You will provide insights and resources that allow our partners to understand the Key Performance Indicators for our stores, equipment, suppliers, and financials and support innovations across all these areas. You will collaborate and co-create with cross-functional teams that are collectively working to allow Starbucks stores to meet and exceed the expectations of our retail partners and customers.

As a Senior Business Analyst You Will:

  1. Be an analytics product owner by developing a deep understanding of key business areas in our organization, connecting the business goals with metrics that matter and meeting our customers where they are and where they are going.
  2. Be an innovator in service to our customers and retail partners, developing cutting-edge analytics tools and insights to support our dynamic and diverse business teams.
  3. Be an insightful storyteller using all the analytics and visualization tools in your toolkit so that you nail the storytelling every time, no matter who is listening to the story or how they are listening.
  4. Never be satisfied with the status quo by employing a growth mindset and continuous improvement when it comes to storytelling, delivering insights and analytics, and contributing to an intuitive and effective analytics platform.

We’d Love To Hear From People With:

  1. 4 years of financial analysis experience.
  2. 4 years of experience working in a cross-functional environment.
  3. 3 years of experience employing human-centered design methodologies.
  4. 3 years of experience with dashboard development, data visualization, and scorecarding.
  5. 3 years of experience with data transformation & modeling.
  6. 2 years of experience in data management & analysis.
  7. 2 years of a proven track record of innovative problem-solving.
  8. Experience applying visualization capabilities to storytelling using Tableau/Power BI.
  9. Business analysis skills, with the ability to see implications and provide consultative solutions and recommendations.
  10. Working knowledge of strategic planning, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting and/or Facilities/Property Management/Asset Management business concepts.
  11. Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  12. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  13. Ability to learn difficult concepts quickly.
  14. Understanding of applicable business issues.
  15. Understanding of business strategies.
