**Job Description:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust nursing care based on patient needs.
- Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks for optimal patient outcomes.
- Accurately document patient care activities using the Allscripts - Sunrise charting system.
- Deliver care in a Level 3 Trauma center, ensuring high-quality and responsive healthcare.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Complete 8 hours of orientation before starting the assignment.
- Efficiently handle three cancellations per 13-week period, as per policy.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
