Job Purpose
The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is accepting applications for the position of Website Content Manager. This position is a key member of the Digital Marketing team and provides digital services to partners throughout the organization. In this role you'll help with building a rich online experience for our patrons through the day-to-day management of various digital platforms, assisting with the launch of new campaigns, helping to maximize SEM/SEO, keeping our websites secure, and helping our Email Marketing Manager code and deploy emails.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily maintenance of the DCPA website content through our WordPress CMS, including adding new content, updating existing content, changing features, and managing promotions.
  • Build and launch landing pages, pillar pages, and microsites to support acquisition and sales targets.
  • Create and deploy webforms (HubSpot, JotForm, etc.) for RSVPs, sign ups, surveys, etc.
  • Code custom views for new HTML email templates. Code and deploy HTML emails.
  • Troubleshoot server and WordPress issues and correct data integrations, data hygiene, or data process issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to maintain a push calendar for website changes, features, and content that aligns with social, brand and growth marketing initiatives.
  • Communicate with cross-departmental stakeholders to ensure timely input and approvals are provided to meet deadlines.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of our WordPress site, including updating and customizing themes and plugins, ensuring security (in collaboration with our IT and security vendor), manage user access, assist and perform selecting, installing, and configuring WordPress plugins and themes, QA WordPress and Plug-in releases, and troubleshoot technical issues (like plugin conflicts or performance issues).
  • Know and apply SEO tag hierarchy and meta data best practices for web page code.
  • Monitor and report on website traffic and user engagement (e.g., conversions, bounce rates, funnel analysis for drop-off) from Google Analytics and other sources.
  • Know and apply the best practices for ensuring accessibility.
  • Partner with the Information Technology team and external vendors to ensure our web architecture, infrastructure and website are right-sized and secure.
  • Jump in and help with email marketing, social media, or other digital marketing functions as needed.
Qualifications
  • You have 4+ years relevant experience in content marketing, web strategy, and the backend administration of a WordPress website.
  • You've worked with Content Management Systems (WordPress experience a bonus) and have skills beyond a WYSIWYG editor (competency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.) to ensure webpages render pixel perfect.
  • You know Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (and/or other web analytics tools, e.g., Adobe, Pendo, Facebook) and understand the role metrics, data and insights have in your work.
  • You understand customer/donor cultivation, sales funnels/buyer journeys, and the role a website plays in a digital marketing/sales strategy.
  • You "get" the art and science of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
  • You easily collaborate with creatives like graphic designers, copywriters, and video producers, to ensure designs, layouts, and assets are optimized, user and mobile-friendly, and meet our brand standards.
  • You get our brand and what our customers and supporters want to hear from us.
  • You're a natural connector and can bring cross-functional groups together to elevate outcomes. Your crystal ball vision helps you stay a few steps ahead and you proactively seek to fill gaps in your knowledge to understand what might lie ahead.
  • You're able to troubleshoot errors in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
$60,000 - $68,000 annually

The DCPA is located in Denver, CO and all roles are based at our on-site location: 1101 13th Street, Denver, CO 80204. Some roles at the DCPA may be eligible for hybrid work options. More information is available through the interview process.
