Pennoni is hiring! In particular, we are looking for a Senior Designer to join our team on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Cape May Court House, NJ. This person will be expected to contribute to our Site/Civil and municipal engineering projects by performing critical design & drafting functions.

Pennoni is hiring! In particular, we are looking for a Senior Designer to join our team on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Cape May Court House, NJ. This person will be expected to contribute to our Site/Civil and municipal engineering projects by performing critical design & drafting functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform CAD Drafting with AutoDesk Civil 3D while utilizing survey field data.
- Prepare Site/Civil drawings including grading, utility, and SWM / E&S plans.
- Prepare various forms of site/civil details & exhibits.
- Provide office support; this includes performing area, slope, and volume computations.
- Ensure scheduling and productivity objectives are achieved.
- Perform field work on an as-needed basis; this includes observing construction and assisting Surveyors.
- Provide mentorship to other staff members.
- Additional duties may be assigned, as needed.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of professional experience working in Civil Design and/or Civil Drafting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology, or a related technical field of study is a plus!
- Experience working on a variety of Land Development projects; experience with both greenfield and brownfield projects is a plus!
- Exposure to municipal engineering / infrastructure improvement projects is a plus!
- Proficiency with engineering / CADD tools; expertise with AutoCAD Civil 3D is expected!
- Proficiency on standard Microsoft Office software applications.
- Proven ability to utilize technical mathematics.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); proven active-listening skills is a plus!
