Senior Energy Sales Manager

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This senior level sales professional will be responsible for acquiring new business and implementing energy strategies. They will need to have existing relationships with senior level decision makers in major corporations.

• Identify, prospect and contact high-level decision makers in businesses
• Cultivate customer relationships with Fortune 500 companies
• Develop energy plans and strategies for Fortune 500 companies
• Understand customers' business objectives and work with internal resources to develop energy hedging strategies
• Outstanding communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Business (Marketing or Finance) or Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in energy/electricity markets with an emphasis on marketing and/or sales
• Business-to-business energy sales experience
• Senior level contacts at businesses
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current working knowledge of the California Direct Access market
• Preference that the candidate reside in California
