CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Position Title: CNC Machinist
Wage: $25-$30/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 3pm-1am

CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- CNC lathe, CNC machining centers or hobbing machines to make required machining operations
- Read and interpret part drawings to ensure proper dimensions of machined specifications
- Note, report, and correct variations in routing sequence
- Keep supervisors aware of pertinent issues, information, etc. warranting supervisors' knowledge, action and/or resolution
- Ensure proper, accurate records, files, databases, etc. are maintained, as required, within areas of responsibility
- Maintain tooling
- Ensure proper inspection, i.e. first piece inspection(s) are performed and adjusts as required
- Perform functions in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner
- Ensure work area is kept clean and safe
- Perform basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer focused attitude
CNC Machinist Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Setup capabilities is a plus
- General knowledge of tooling applications and shop practices
- Possess general machinist tools and related equipment
- General computer knowledge of Outlook, browsing, and basic data entry
- Able to work within tolerance requirements and perform visual inspection
- Able to use required hand tools, precision measuring instruments, etc.
- Able to work from detailed drawings, blueprints, prints, work orders, etc.
- Regularly stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Reach with hands and arms
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
