Bustle Digital Group is seeking a Freelance Account Manager to join our growing Account Management team . This position is client-facing and will be responsible for executing post-sale production for media and custom content campaigns specifically for West Coast clients, with an emphasis on entertainment clients . The role requires orchestrating internal resources to ensure campaign expectations and contractual obligations are met, while also acting as a client advocate and liaison between teams.
This is a 3-month freelance, remote role , with an opportunity to extend. Candidates must be available to work PST hours , and based on the West Coast .
Responsibilities
- Provide best-in-class service managing active programs independently, overseeing multiple campaign elements, and acting as the primary contact for clients post-sale.
- Understand all sold campaign elements and strategies to deliver on client campaign objectives, particularly for entertainment clients.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining all program documentation during post-sale (including client kick-off call agendas, sold scope-of-work, and additional campaign trackers).
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to design rich media ad units and assemble relevant decks such as screenshots when a campaign goes live.
- Collaborate with the Ad Ops team to monitor creative implementation, tag delivery, QA of media, execution and delivery, and ensure KPIs are achieved and optimized from a media standpoint.
- Work closely with internal BDG Studio teams to execute custom content deliverables, including custom articles, social media posts, Instagram stories, influencer activations, and photo shoots.
- Use project management software (Monday.com ) to manage branded content projects and deliverables, ensuring all elements stay on schedule.
- Partner with the Distribution Marketing team to execute content distribution plans and manage performance across key social platforms.
- Collaborate with the Reporting & Insights Team to analyze campaign performance metrics, provide real-time optimization recommendations, and create end-of-campaign recap decks.
- BA or equivalent.
- Must work PST hours .
- 3-5 years of experience in advertising or publisher companies, particularly with entertainment clients.
- Strong track record in client service.
- Experience in branded content (video, articles, social, influencer, events) and media execution is essential.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask.
- Preferred: Proficiency with Keynote, Excel, Google Suite, Monday.com .
$45 - $48 an hour
