DescriptionThe Senior Content Marketing Lead is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy that supports the customer journey and reinforces strategic messaging by segment. This role oversees the creation, curation, and distribution of high-quality content across various channels to engage decision-makers and technical audiences, drive brand awareness, and ultimately contribute to business growth. The Senior Content Marketing Lead oversees production of content across web, digital, including video, blog, podcast, web and digital marketing formats. Collaborating with campaign planning, paid media teams, and partners closely with PR and social media to extend the reach and visibility of the team’s content.Key job responsibilitiesContent Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement a multi-channel, multi-format content marketing plan that supports messaging priorities and aligns with the startup founder customer journey.Identify content gaps and areas of investment for content production based on existing content inventory and the needs of startup founders.Establish a dynamic calendar for "Always On" learning content tailored to meet the specific needs of startup founders and entrepreneurs.Define and deliver a content strategy for Generative AI, showcasing the company's expertise and success stories through various content formats appealing to startup founders.Develop content assets to support paid media campaigns and initiatives targeting startup founders, such as eBooks, videos, animations, and infographics.Content Creation and Curation:Lead a team of content creators and supporting agencies to produce high-quality, engaging content that resonates with startup founders.Collaborate with subject matter experts and startup founders to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with their needs and challenges.Oversee the creation of customer references, case studies, and success stories highlighting the company's work with startup founders.Optimize and repurpose existing content assets to maximize their reach and impact for the startup founder audience across multiple channels.Content Management and Distribution:Define and support enhancements to the bespoke content management system (CMS) to deliver an enhanced content consumption experience for startup founders.Implement a comprehensive content restructuring strategy and integrate robust blog features within the CMS, tailored for startup founders.Support content migration from various sources to a centralized CMS for improved discoverability and user experience for startup founders.Develop and execute content distribution strategies across channels frequented by startup founders, including the company's website, social media platforms, and other relevant channels.Measure and analyze content performance metrics to optimize content strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives related to the startup founder audience.Team Management and Collaboration:Manage and mentor a team of content professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, sales, and customer success, to align content efforts with broader business goals related to the startup founder audience.About the teamAWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market.
