- Develop and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis for an assigned portfolio of properties.
- Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures.
- Identify issues, anticipate problems, recognize inefficiencies in current processes, and take the initiative resolve them.
- Analyze financial statements for errors or inconsistencies.
- Address internal inquiries related to financial activity.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of general ledger entries.
- Prepare accruals and adjusting entries as needed.
- Monitor and communicate results for project accounting, active properties and franchise accounting.
- Assist in budget preparation and the development of more accurate forecasting process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
- Minimum three years of accounting experience, preferably. in real estate or property management.
- Previous experience participating in financial analysis.
- Previous audit experience a plus.
- Yardi Voyager experience a plus.
