Position: Corporate Technical Recruiter

Position Summary: PTFS seeks an experienced Technical Recruiter adept at hiring cleared DoD and IC industry professionals to include Software and DevOps engineers and other technical professionals. Must be customer driven with a good understanding of Prime/Sub relationships and be excited to find great talent for our company, our customers, and their mission.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Must be able to source, identify, and coordinate candidates for internal as well as contract positions in the intelligence and other federal agencies.
  2. Be adept at using tools and techniques to successfully source candidates including being well-versed in using social media platforms for outreach.
  3. Collaborate with marketing to engage candidates and retain current workforce.
  4. Coordinate and confirm interview and selection activities for internal and external recruitment practices.
  5. Conduct preliminary interviews with skilled prospects to gauge interest, personality, fit, and salary requirements and initiate the pre-hire process.
  6. Participate in meetings with hiring managers and teams to determine workforce needs.
  7. Apply standardized screening techniques, assess the skills, qualifications, and experience of top talent all in compliance with OFCCP requirements.
  8. Provide feedback and metrics to management about details regarding candidate activity.
  9. Collaborate with partner personnel on candidate status and the interview process.
  10. Attend networking events, job fairs, help with marketing event planning/execution, as well as other creative efforts.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years in recruiting candidates in the Federal space, including but not limited to those with high-level security clearances (up to and including TS/SCI + Poly) for the IC and DoD markets.
  2. Be geared towards exhausting all options to bring solutions to talent acquisition challenges.
  3. Must be well-versed in all current (and upcoming) social media platforms used to attract, inform, refer, retain as well as entertain our target workforce.
  4. Experience with a variety of Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably ADP WorkforceNow.
  5. Documented experience successfully recruiting/hiring highly skilled technical professionals (including but not limited to: Systems Administrators, Test Engineers, Cloud Developers, Web Developers, Data Architects, Data Scientists, SW System Engineers, Linux Engineers).
  6. Excellent Communication Skills.

Work Conditions/Physical Factors:

  1. This position is based at our Rockville Maryland Corporate office and is eligible for a hybrid schedule.
  2. Ability to travel locally.
