We are seeking a skilled and experienced aviation finance professional to join our Leasing, Investment, Finance and Trading division (LIFT) at GA Telesis. The Director of HALO Airfinance will fully support our platform HALO Airfinance, a direct lending platform focused on the Aviation industry. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to directional strategies and work closely with our LIFT President and Chief Investment Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and negotiate aircraft and engine secured lending opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with lessors, investors, airlines, banks, and OEMs.
  • Support marketing strategies to foster relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with GA Telesis sales and marketing teams both domestically and internationally.
  • Support pricing, structuring, and risk assessment of aviation transactions.
  • Support transaction management activities in coordination with legal, loan administration, and facility agents.
  • Facilitate smooth execution of deals while adhering to regulatory and internal compliance.
  • Coordinate funding activities with HALO partners and facility agents.
  • Monitor funding timelines and ensure seamless financial operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of relevant finance and transactional experience.
  • Familiarity with aircraft lease structures and documentation.
  • Proficient knowledge of all major commercial aircraft and engine types.
  • Willingness to embrace a high volume of consistent travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of relevant industry and transactional experience.
  • Experience in credit analysis, preferably with a focus on airlines.
  • Technical acumen to evaluate and differentiate asset risk considerations.
  • Proven track record in the aircraft finance sector.
  • Strong network of contacts within the lessor, airline, bank, and OEM communities.
