Toole Design Group in Seattle, WA is looking to hire an experienced and talented full-time Project Accountant. A Day in the Life of a Project Accountant
You are at the forefront for the financial management and health of multiple projects. This includes: monitoring project performance by reviewing budgets and forecasting potential overruns, creating and maintaining project accounts in the accounting system using established procedures, maintaining work-in-process folders and files for all projects, setting up and closing out projects in the ERP system, assisting project managers with billing issues, reconciling receipts and budgets and communicating with the project manager as required, preparing invoices, analyses of performance, compiling information for internal and external auditors and contributing to staff trainings.
We are targeting a salary range of $73,000.00 to $80,000.00 for this position.
Work Schedule for a Project Accountant:
This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home 2-3 days per week. The Seattle office of Toole Design is conveniently located in the heart of Seattle’s Business District blocks from the Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, Central Public Library, and Waterfront. The office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit or ferry.

Qualifications of a Project Accountant:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent relevant experience
- Five to seven years of Project Accounting experience
- Experience assisting in producing accurate and timely financial statements
- Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint or Vision or other job cost accounting software
- Competency in reading/reviewing contracts
