Egnyte is looking for a highly motivated Director, Finance with a proven track-record working on high-impact FP&A teams for complex global SaaS companies. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, or Corporate Finance/M&A. This role will be based in our Mountain View HQ office a minimum of 3 days per week.
In this position you will be a key player within the FP&A organization providing financial insights and helping to drive scalable growth and success. You will need strong analytical and system skills, a partnership orientation for working with business leaders and the ability to manage financial models and strategic goals, while also being very detail oriented. You must be a self-starter, have an ability to communicate complex ideas to business leaders and a desire to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic, high-growth technology company. You will thrive in a fun, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
You will work closely with the VP Finance and CFO to develop short and long-range strategic business plans in partnership with Product and Strategy leadership as well as lead the development of M&A financial models. The successful candidate must be an excel and powerpoint power user.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the key finance partner to the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Product Officer, creating financial business cases and strategic evaluations of new products and initiatives & M&A.
- Work closely with the CFO and VP Finance to develop materials for Investor activities.
- Develop dashboards to track key performance metrics and monitor business performance.
- Structure, build, and maintain complex financial and decision-making models to develop meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
- Identify and drive initiatives to improve process, systems and automation to help the business scale.
- Assist in preparation of routine financial communication materials provided to executive staff, shareholders, lenders and the Board of Directors.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of combined experience in FP&A at global SaaS companies and investment banking, consulting, or Corporate Finance.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS and subscription-based revenue models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion, with high attention to detail.
- Systems expertise: highly proficient with NetSuite, Salesforce, Anaplan, and MS Office applications, particularly Excel & Powerpoint.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; MBA strongly preferred.
Compensation
- Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations and pay varies based on defined markets. The standard base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $158k - $220k annually. Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience.
