Pay Range: $75,000/Annually
Pay Frequency: Biweekly
Position Hours: 40 Hours/Week
FLSA: Exempt
The Leasing Team Leader is accountable for leading a team of Leasing Specialists to maximize occupancy levels while ensuring compliance with all guidelines and quality control. The Leasing Team Leader must display tech-savviness, great communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, applicable state statutes and all other laws pertaining to residential rentals, whether local, state, or federal.
- Ensure all Leasing Specialists are compliant with all policies and procedures while providing quality service to prospective residents
- Implement strategies to meet goals and deadlines
- Provide training to enhance the skills and strengths of the Leasing Specialists
- Monitor metrics making recommendations to meet or exceed goals
- Work closely with the Director of Leasing and office operation teams to address opportunities for improvement
- Syndicate property listings through the approved software upon approval of the property manager or business development representative
- Monitor and respond to inquiries from prospective applicants, ensuring a prompt and professional response
- Qualify prospective applicants to ensure minimum requirements are met
- Schedule property showings or coordinate unaccompanied showings insuring company policies are strictly enforced
- Clearly and thoroughly explain the application process to all interested parties to ensure a smooth experience for prospective residents. Ensure receipt of completed applications ready for processing. Process resident applications following company guidelines and adhere to fair housing regulations
- Monitor feedback from prospective residents regarding the condition of properties, advising the property manager on condition of maintenance/cleaning issues needing to be addressed to improve the marketability of properties
- Draft leases for signature for the approved applicants and property manager
- Provide the necessary information to ensure a successful move-in
- Monitor and process lease renewals in accordance with company guidelines
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- 5 years of experience in property management
- 3-5 years of prior leadership experience
- Leasing experience
