Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Management: Manage and streamline day-to-day operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow.
• Production Coordination: Oversee the entire production process from material sourcing to product delivery, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely execution.
• Supply Chain Management: Implement and refine strategies to optimize supply chain operations, reduce lead times, and control costs while maintaining product quality and sustainability standards.
• Vendor Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure consistent and reliable operations.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements, implementing innovative solutions and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate operational risks, ensuring contingency plans are in place to address potential disruptions in production or supply chain processes.
• Reporting & Analysis: Monitor key operational metrics, manage budgets, and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
• Technology Integration: Work with the technology team to implement tools and systems that enhance operational efficiency and provide real-time insights into supply chain and production metrics.
Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in operations management, particularly in fashion manufacturing, production, or supply chain management.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while effectively balancing multiple responsibilities.
• Must have previous experience in fashion companies
• Experience working with apparel manufacturers based in Asia is required.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills focused on process optimization and operational efficiency.
• Experience in vendor management, including negotiations and relationship building.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and optimize operations.
• An energetic, positive, and entrepreneurial personality with excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively across departments.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, supply chain management, or a related field;
• Willingness to travel to Asia periodically as needed to oversee production and supply chain activities.
• Previous experience in fashion companies, particularly in the contemporary fashion space.
