Job Title: Sr. Data Analyst
Work Location: Chicago, IL
Relevant Experience (in yrs):
- 4+ years of IT or business/industry-specific work experience.
- 3+ years of business data systems analysis experience plus solid experience in systems analysis, structured analysis, or methods and procedures.
- 3+ years expertise in process design and documentation methodologies, and design and production of quality deliverables, process and use case modeling (UML), business case development and testing methodologies.
- 4+ years experience in using business productivity tools like Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, MS Project, and Visio to communicate requirements.
- 4+ years experience and knowledge in Systems Development Life Cycle; working experience Agile Methodologies.
Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in SSAS- Multi Dimensional data modeling, Data Analysis, Data Modeling and Power BI.
Technical/Functional Skills: MUST be highly skilled and experienced in:
- SQL Server Analysis Services - Create Tabular Model
- Power BI
- SQL Server Database/ SQL
- Pivot tables and power pivot
Experience in facilitation in Joint Application Design (JAD) or Dynamic Systems Development Methods (DSDM) as well as strong knowledge of SQL.
Outstanding leadership, organizational skills, and ability to communicate to various levels and roles throughout the organization in both written and oral formats.
Working knowledge and experience with Data Management areas in terms of architecture, Extract Transform and Load processes, and Data Movement processes both in batch and on demand.
