Summary
The Business Development Analyst supports the sales team in all prospecting & existing customer activities. Responsibilities include maintaining Salesforce system, coordinating meetings, tracking business development activities. Ensures smooth coordination between sales and other departments.

Essential Functions

  1. Salesforce Management: Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (SFDC) system with accurate and current prospect information, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
  2. Prospecting Support: Assist in identifying and researching potential leads or prospects through various channels, including online research, industry databases, and other sources.
  3. Pipeline management
  4. Target setting and tracking by segment and vertical.
  5. Support forecasting requirements
  6. Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate meetings, calls, and appointments for the sales team with potential clients or prospects. Manage calendars to optimize scheduling efficiency.
  7. Business Development Tracking: Monitor and track sales team activities related to business development, including outbound calls, emails, follow-ups, and other outreach efforts. Prepare reports and summaries to analyze the effectiveness of different strategies.
  8. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain sales documents, including pitch deck customization and development, presentations, and reports as needed to support the sales team in their prospecting and client interactions.
  9. Collaboration and Communication: Liaise between the sales team and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to support prospecting efforts.
  10. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve sales development processes, suggesting enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  3. High level organizational skills, time management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet deadlines

  5. Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner.

Preferred

  1. Attention to detail and aptitude in working with numbers including mathematical calculations involving percentages, fractions, and decimals.
