Description

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
    • Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to inform business strategies.

  2. Business Strategy Development:
    • Drive revenue growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
    • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and growth targets.
    • Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, alliances, and market opportunities.

  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Evaluate and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

  4. Sales and Revenue Growth:
    • Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
    • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively seeking out new partnerships and customers.

  5. Team Leadership and Coordination:
    • Work closely with the marketing, engineering, and product development teams to align business development efforts with company objectives.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and contracts.

  6. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and transactions.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. BS in Engineering is a plus. A Master's degree is also a plus.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the industrial power systems sector. Focus on rectifiers is preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the industrial power systems market and products.
  • Understanding of the sales and marketing process for highly engineered, premium product selling to industries, OEMs and EPCs.
  • Understanding of the strategies and effects of disruptive technologies in the marketplace.
  • Ability to communicate accessibly and concisely about product or service to outsiders, including prospective customers and clients, partners, vendors.
  • Embodies strong internal ethical standards and ability to uphold an unwavering integrity to be successful in the organzation.
