Position Summary

Provide a consistent, stable and predictable hardware and software client platform for the hosting of GetixHealth daily business-as-usual projects and activities. Maintain minimum 99.99% average uptime across all platforms. Hands-on technical position managing local and remote teams and projects across the world.

Position Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison, interfacing with external clients in furthering GetixHealth and IT-INF business and professional services activities.
  • Recent experience in supporting a work-from-home, hybrid and on-premises workforce and technical team domestic and abroad.
  • Strong Technical aptitude and recent hands-on experience in a given discipline such as software development, engineering or architecture.
  • 5 years of infrastructure development experience.
  • 5 years support of DevOps performance troubleshooting.
  • Experience with various technology development methodologies, specifically developing agile methodology and building an agile organization.
  • Show capability to understand and align with enterprise strategic tools, technical infrastructure and future direction against common deliverables.
  • Must have a strong background in program and project management plus 5 years of experience.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills.
  • A proven track record of delivering highly available systems and quality software products on time and on budget.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of significant experience in a Technology leadership role.
  • Minimum of 5+ recent years in a senior leadership role leading a support team of 10+ individuals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with building, motivating, mentoring & leading large groups/teams.
  • Demonstrated experience and success using project management skills.
  • Able to effectively interact with Senior Management, Software Vendors, Peers, Engineers, etc.
  • Strict budget and forecasting mentality, ability to manage multi-million-dollar projects while effectively reducing costs.
  • Superior written and interpersonal communications skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum seven years recent hands-on experience in supporting a Microsoft Windows environment in a domain structure with minimum 1000 nodes in mixed hybrid workforce – remote and on-premises.
  • Experienced in troubleshooting and maintaining server and desktop platform hardware from HP and Dell.
  • Technical understanding in troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity issues and application performance, including using WireShark, NMAP, Cisco Secure X Suite, AppDynamics, InfoSight, Intersight.
  • Minimum three years recent experience in directly procuring, configuring, and deploying of network equipment in a data center and branch offices.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in supporting desktops, laptops, and tablets on multiple platforms including Windows 11, Chrome, Linux, Apple iOS, MacOS, Android 4.1+.
  • Minimum three years hands-on experience in directly procuring, configuring, and deploying of network devices, video conferencing codecs.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in supporting VoIP platforms and SIP trunk technologies.
  • Minimum three years of SD-WAN technologies and vendors.
  • Minimum five years recent experience implementing and maintaining enterprise Cisco network and infrastructure hardware, particularly Cisco Catalyst, Meraki edge and wireless, Cisco UCS HC infrastructure.
  • Experienced in deploying routing, HA and LAN/WAN technologies, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, BGP.
  • Experienced user of Thousand Eyes, StealthWatch, ISE, Umbrella, DarkTrace.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to document projects and processes.
  • Ability to negotiate compromises between conflicting priorities.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements to written documentation. Experience in set up, configuration, troubleshooting and operation of Tandberg, Polycom, or Cisco MCU equipment.
  • Three (3) years recent hands-on experience with virtualization platforms - experience with VMWare and Hyper-V and Citrix.
  • Vendor-specific certifications – i.e. MCSE, CCNA, ITIL, PMP (as evidenced by recent certificates).

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Work environment is hybrid, with some travel to one or more office locations. The position requires the dexterity to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, keyboard, mouse and telephone.
  • Occasional lifting may be required up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time with frequent bending and stooping.
